Recording Acaemy & MusiCares Launch $1M Wildfire Relief Fund

MusiCares, in partnership with The Recording Academy, has announced a $1M relief fund to support music professionals affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

Assistance Available

MusiCares provides short-term disaster relief, including:

• $1,500 in financial aid

• $500 grocery cards

• Support for evacuation costs, instrument repairs, home damage, medical care, mental health services, and relocation needs.

Eligible music professionals must have at least 5 years of employment in the industry or credits on 6 commercially-released recordings.
